The "Implementation Measures" as a detailed regulation of the "Regulations on the Revocation of Defective Automobile Products" further clarifies and strengthens the obligations of the manufacturer to recall the main responsibility, increases the obligations to auto parts producers, and the work flow and local quality of the supervisory departments. The number of car recalls hit a record high

At the same time, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine also issued the â€œNotification of Defective Product Recalls 2015â€. According to the "Announcement", as of December 18, there were 226 recalls conducted by 76 companies across the country, involving 5.548 million defective vehicles. The number of recalls increased by 29% over the same period of last year, and the number increased by 17% compared to the same period of last year, which was the highest in history.

Among them, automobile companies affected by the defect inspection of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) implemented a total of 81 recalls, an increase of 170% compared with the same period of last year, and involved 3.522300 defective vehicles, an increase of 18% over the same period of last year, accounting for 64% of all recalls this year.

According to statistics, since the implementation of the Defective Automobile Product Recall System in October 2004, China has implemented 1,079 vehicle recalls and recalled 25,338,500 vehicles in 11 years.
