BASF and Asian academic institutions to build new materials research and development network

BASF has recently launched "Advanced Materials Open Research Network" (NAO) with seven first-rate universities and research institutes in China, Japan and South Korea to jointly develop new materials for a wide range of applications. The initial research and development focused on the automotive, construction, detergents and cleaners, water treatment and wind energy industry products.

The relevant person in charge of BASF advanced materials and systems research department said that this project is an important step in BASF's strategy to expand global R & D activities.
