As the first pilot company in the petrochemical industry to use blackbody technology, Tianjin Petrochemical Ethylene Cracking Furnace began trials of blackbody technology in September 2012. After preliminary tests, fuel consumption dropped by 4% to 6%. In addition, the blackbody technology has also been used on the heating furnaces of more than a dozen steel companies such as Jiangsu Shagang Group, Laiwu Iron and Steel Group, and Jiangsu Huaigang Group. The energy saving effect is obvious, and the energy saving rate is above 10%.
Zhang Juntong, leader of the technical review expert group and director of the expert committee of the China Chemical Industry Energy Technology Association, said that the blackbody technology has been basically mature and can be promoted and applied in industrial furnaces above 700°C in iron and steel metallurgy, petrochemical, and chemical industries; Tianjin Petrochemical has After the trial of this technology, it can be evaluated and held on site for a period of time. After the trial of natural gas as raw material to synthesize ammonia raw gas, it can be promoted.
