On January 1st, Bridgestone (China) Investment Co., Ltd., which manages Bridgestone's tire business in China, issued the 2013 Sustainability Report (CSR Report).
As the first sustainability report released by Bridgestone (China), this report provides a comprehensive summary of Bridgestone's “How to set CSR activities†and “How to conduct CSR activities†in China. Advancing the “sustainable development†dialogue with many parties.
Based on the thinking of “CSR is the operation itselfâ€, the Bridgestone Group regards CSR as the operation center, emphasizing that CSR is not only a concept, but should be put into practice in daily business activities. In 2007, Bridgestone draws from the three general views of the society on the "importance of society", "importance of Bridgestone" and "the factual situation of the Bridgestone Group".
