China's first high-temperature superconducting high-voltage power supply model prototype was successfully developed

Recently, China's first prototype of high-temperature superconducting high-voltage power supply control device was introduced in the University of Electronic Science and Technology. The successful debugging of the prototype indicates that the invention of the high-temperature superconducting technology will enable actual product development. The project was completed by Professor Jin Jianxun and the Associate Professor Zhang Changming of the Institute of Applied Superconducting and Electrical Technology at the School of Automation Engineering.

The invention is a novel high pressure production method. It utilizes the basic characteristics of zero resistance and high critical current of high temperature superconductors to form a special high Q resonant circuit, which amplifies the low voltage source and becomes a novel high voltage generating method. In theory, the device is capable of producing an infinite high pressure, and the practical limit is the withstand voltage limit of the various components used. This method of generating high voltage is not possible using conventional wire technology.

After the introduction of high-temperature superconducting technology, the high-pressure generation method can be realized simply and conveniently, and the running cost is low. The device can be used for partial discharge test of electrical equipment insulation materials, or as a high-voltage detection instrument for electrical and electronic component insulation detection, or as a portable utility device suitable for field high-voltage insulation inspection work without conventional power supply. It can also be developed into a magnet charging technology. In addition, it can also be used as a special test device for studying high-temperature superconducting coils and AC losses of high-temperature superconductors at different frequencies.

This research work will guide and promote the development of high-temperature superconducting practical and high-temperature superconducting devices. High-temperature superconducting materials are a new type of material with strong practicability, and its application will enable the design and manufacture of a series of special devices. The general high-voltage equipment developed by high-temperature superconducting materials generally has the basic characteristics of high efficiency and energy saving. .

• Characteristics and nature of product, additives and mixed material characteristics and flow ability.
