Recently, China's first horticultural solid fertilizer application and wreck processing multi-function machine officially appeared in the Jiangsu Province high-efficiency facility agricultural mechanization site meeting. The machine was newly developed by the Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute's biomass conversion and utilization equipment innovation team. It has achieved breakthroughs in three key technologies: uniform application of solid fertilizer in greenhouses, application of soil and fertilizer in the orchard, and horticultural debris. The application efficiency and quality of organic fertilizer and manure in vegetable greenhouses and orchards have reached the domestic leading level.
With the increase in the application of organic fertilizers and manure in fields, greenhouses and orchards, as well as the shortage of labor and environmental pollution, the mechanized applicator of organic solid fertilizers has become urgently needed for production. Under the support of the Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Institute's biomass equipment team has developed three kinds of chassis fertilizers, such as Datian traction type, large-row wheel type and crawler self-propelled type. The debut of the horticultural solid fertilizer application multi-function machine is a multi-functional gardening machine with market application prospects.
