The Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China has announced the "Eleventh Five-Year Plan" national high-tech research and development plan (863 plan), which involves two heavy-duty automotive industries. According to Wang Shanpo, chief engineer of China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, the country’s advanced technology project for automobile development aims to initially establish a technology innovation system for automobile development through the development of advanced technologies for automobile development to meet the growing demand of the domestic market and the formation of large-scale export Ability to promote China's auto industry to achieve leap-forward development and enhance China's independent development capabilities and international competitiveness. Wang Shanpo said that the level of technological development and product technology content of heavy-duty vehicles signify the overall strength of a country's auto industry. The rapid development of China's social economy and logistics industry has driven the demand for heavy-duty vehicles, providing a huge space for the development of high-tech, high-performance heavy-duty vehicles. The "Heavy Vehicle Integrated Development Technology" project aims to improve the independent development capability of China's heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Focusing on chassis integration and matching, performance optimization and cab development, the company will explore advanced design theories suitable for China's heavy-duty auto companies through the combination of production, learning and research. Methods, development processes, and design specifications form a systematic and standardized technical system. On this basis, breakthroughs were made in the integration of key technologies for heavy-duty commercial vehicle chassis integration and cab design and development, resulting in the design and development of heavy-duty commercial vehicles with independent intellectual property rights, and the establishment of an integrated platform for digital design and development of heavy-duty commercial vehicles with complete independent intellectual property rights. Vehicle dynamics, handling stability, fuel economy, and cab comfort have reached the technical level of the same year-on-year models of the same period in the world, and have achieved original technological achievements.
