In the past five years, Meritor invested a total of US$8 million to upgrade its production processes at its global factories. The company’s expansion project for its Plaintown factory is expected to create 82 new jobs this year and next.
Currently, Meritor currently has eight remanufacturing plants worldwide, covering five countries, producing powertrains and wheel-end components. These remanufacturing plants can recycle more than 30,000 tons of metals each year.
