The project “Development and Demonstration Application of Intelligent Positioning Service Platform for Engineering Ships Based on Beidou Compatible System†fully utilizes the communication function of Beidou compatible system, and combines the position information of Beidou/GPS to develop intelligence based on the experience of establishing ocean tide data service system in the early stage. The location service platform and its terminal equipment establish a ship-to-shore data communication protocol to realize standardized access and automatic data exchange, complement and seamlessly connect with other data transmission methods, and the horizontal positioning is gradually compatible with the Beidou system and replaces GPS.
The project has developed a visual 3D ship monitoring and construction effect optimization analysis and dispatching system to meet the needs of users for remote monitoring, alarm and remote fault diagnosis. The research results have taken the lead in the demonstration application of the Shanghai Waterway Bureau of China Communications, and opened up the application field of the Beidou system in engineering marine engineering.
