3.1. The equipment is placed on a flat, solid floor or on a concrete platform. The environment is dry and ventilated. There should be a tap water source in the room for the use of cooling medium. The surrounding environment should be free of strong electromagnetic field interference.
3.2. Tighten the oil drain bolts on the left side of the main engine and inject the heating medium into the tank from the long tank above the tank. The oil surface is approximately 40mm away from the tank top cover.
3.3, power line connection:
Connect the power cable of the host to the rated power supply of 220V, rated current of 20A knife switch or automatic air switch. (Note: The power cable is a three-core cable. The two short cables are connected to the phase and neutral wires. One long wire is the ground wire, and it is firmly grounded).
3.4, the installation of pressure head:
Select the test head according to the type of test you require (thermal deformation or Vicat), hot deform to fillet (R3) head, and Vicat to needle head. Remove the sample holder in the accessory box, install the indenter on the lower end of the load rod of the sample holder, and tighten the top screw.
3.5, the installation of the sample rack:
Operate the rise ("up") button on the front of the main unit to raise the rack support plate. Push the sample rack into position along the slot in front of the pallet and press the lower ("down") button to drop the sample rack into the oil sump.
3.6, displacement sensor installation (see attached drawing):
Three deformation sensors 8 are placed in the sensor holder 11 on the sample holder. After the top screw is tightened, the lead wires are plugged in. The sorting sequence is (from left to right) 1# sensor, 2# sensor, 3#. sensor.
Place the displacement sensor into the sensor seat by number and tighten the fastening screw. Plug in the leads.
The sample racks are No. 1 sample racks, No. 2 sample racks and No. 3 sample racks from left to right.
