Tianye Chemical Co., Ltd. successfully completes the replacement and reconstruction of a saltwater bucket elevator

At 12 o'clock on the morning of November 18, 2013, as the first spatula salt slowly flowed into the salt drum, it marked the successful completion of the replacement and transformation of a salt water bucket elevator at Tianye Chemical Co., Ltd., and also indicated the maintenance and repair of the large parking lot in autumn 2013. Finished perfectly.
A brine-operated bucket elevator belongs to Class A equipment and has been in service for 9 years. Although the hull, chain, and other wearing parts were replaced during normal maintenance, due to the corrosive nature of the salt, long-term operation, the bucket lifting head The assembly and tail of the department caused corrosion to varying degrees, and the bearings and shafts also showed wear. In order to extend the service life of equipment and ensure the normal operation of production, Tianye Chemical Company decided to replace the head assembly, tail assembly, chain, and hopper of the bucket elevator during the autumn maintenance. The chemical company's first salt water bucket elevator is 17 meters high, plus an installation platform of up to 25 meters, and the replacement part weighs 7.4 tons. The overhaul covers the removal of the original parts and the replacement of new parts. It is planned to complete in 5 days. However, there was a “bottleneck” in the replacement process. The installation dimensions of the new spare parts and the original parts were not the same. Only through the on-site modification, the new spare parts could meet the requirements of the original equipment.
In order not to affect production, the company decided to repair the machine two days in advance, which is when the weather cools, the wind is cold and cold, and the sleet is small to moderate, but this does not affect our enthusiasm to overhaul workers. Large cranes and electric welders are working, and the company’s heads are instructed in an orderly manner. The atmosphere of the work scene is warm. The masters of the metalworking workshops of Hui Neng Company were enthusiastically and energetically devoted to the overhaul work. They carefully checked each data and ensured that the installation dimensions were accurate. After 10 days of hard work, it was formally put into trial operation on the morning of the 18th, marking the successful conclusion of the transformation and replacement of the bucket elevator.
