"Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and "National Grain Production Project" started in Beijing

On the 12th, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Finance, and the State Grain Administration jointly held the inauguration meeting of the “12th Five-Year Plan” and “National Grain High-tech Production Project” in Beijing. In the next five years, this project will continue to be implemented in 13 major grain-producing provinces (regions) in China.

The 13 major grain producing provinces (regions) are Hunan, Hubei, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Anhui, Henan, Hebei, Shandong, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Liaoning and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
“Under the current situation that international food prices have risen sharply, market supply has tightened, and the food security situation is extremely tight, it is necessary to recognize the new situation faced by China’s food security in the 12th Five-Year Plan and fully deploy systematically grain science and technology work.” Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang said.
He put forward five requirements for the "12th Five-Year Plan" grain science and technology work. The first is to raise awareness; the second is to highlight scientific and technological innovation, promote the integration of high-yield food technology and increase production in large areas; the third is to encourage and support scientific and technological personnel to go to the frontline of the rural grassroots; fourth is to strengthen the construction of food production and high-tech science and technology bases, platforms, and personnel; Increase food science and technology investment.
During the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” period, the “National Scientific Project for High-yield Food Production” highlighted the "three major crops" of rice, wheat, and corn, based on the "Three Great Plains" of the Northeast, North China, and the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and strengthened the research field, core area, and demonstration area. , radiation area "a field three areas" construction.
In the past five years, with science and technology innovation as the core, government guidance and market integration as the mainstay, namely the "one machine and two wings" of rural science and technology innovation and entrepreneurial action, has promoted the effective implementation of the "national grain production science and technology project."
According to statistics, through the implementation of the project, the country has accumulated an area of 835 million mu in the “three districts” and increased production of more than 46.66 million tons of grain in five years. The increase in grain production accounts for more than 17% of the country’s total over the same period; the increase in the unit production is 2.7 of the national average. Times.
In addition, the project has led to the integration of 180 sets of high-yield, high-yield and high-yield cultivation techniques for grain crops with regional characteristics, which has increased the utilization rate of chemical fertilizers in the core area by more than 10%, decreased the use of pesticides by more than 25%, reduced disaster losses by more than 15%, and created the Yangtze River. The single-season rice production exceeds 900 kg in the single-season rice, 1,325 kg in the double-season rice, 750 kg in the wheat in the Huang-Huai-Hai region, and 1,700 kg in the winter wheat/summer corn per year. This is to achieve food production increase and protection. National food security provides strong technical support.
Food is a strategic commodity that ensures life, prices, and people's confidence. To ensure food security is a top priority for the people's livelihood. China has proposed the goal of adding 100 billion kilograms of grain by 2020.

Special Heatsink

A special heatsink is a device that is designed to dissipate heat from electronic components or devices. It is typically made of a thermally conductive material, such as aluminum or copper, and is designed to increase the surface area of the component it is attached to, which in turn increases the rate of heat dissipation.Special heatsinks are used in a wide range of electronic applications, including computers, mobile devices, LED lighting, and power electronics. They are particularly important in high-performance applications where heat can cause damage to sensitive components or reduce their performance. There are many different types of special heatsinks available, including passive heatsinks, active heatsinks, and liquid-cooled heatsinks. Passive heatsinks rely on natural convection to dissipate heat, while active heatsinks use fans or other mechanisms to increase airflow and improve heat dissipation. Liquid-cooled heatsinks use a liquid coolant to transfer heat away from the component, which can be particularly effective in high-power applications.Overall, special heatsinks are an essential component in many electronic systems, helping to ensure reliable performance and prevent damage from heat buildup.
