Use and maintenance of glass rotor flowmeter

1. Before installing the glass rotor flowmeter, be sure to clean the welding slag and debris in the pipeline.
2. The glass rotor flowmeter must be installed perpendicular to the ground and its inclination must not exceed 2°. Otherwise it will affect the measurement accuracy.
3. If the measured medium is dirty or contains magnetically permeable particles, a filter or magnetic filter should be installed upstream of the metal tube float flowmeter.
4. In order to ensure the measurement accuracy of the glass rotor flowmeter, a straight pipe section of not less than 10DN should be added at the inlet end of the flowmeter, and a straight pipe section of not less than 5DN at the outlet end should be installed. The regulating control valve must be installed downstream of the flowmeter during measurement. .
5. The installation of the flowmeter should be able to properly support the vibration of the pipeline or reduce the axial load of the flowmeter, otherwise the support of the fixed flowmeter should be increased.
6. If the measured medium is a large pulsating flow or a two-phase flow, a buffer should be installed upstream of the flowmeter to eliminate or weaken the pulsation to ensure that the flow of the medium is stable in a single phase. At the same time, it is recommended that the flowmeter use a damping type.
7. When the glass rotor flowmeter is used for gas measurement, it should ensure that the working pressure in the pipeline is not less than 5 times the pressure loss of the flowmeter, so that the flowmeter can stabilize the normal operation.
8. For the electric remote transmission and the flow meter with the alarm limit switch, open the instrument cover and connect it correctly according to the wiring diagram before use. For the screw of the alarm type loosening limit switch, the user sets the limit alarm position as needed, and tightens the screw to restore it.
9. In order to facilitate the maintenance of the flowmeter, the cleaning of the magnetic filter and the regular maintenance of the user piping, it is recommended to use a bypass pipe.
10. If the rotor flowmeter is turned on, since there is no pressure in the pipeline or the system has not reached the working pressure of the normal use of the instrument, the control valve must be slowly opened until the system is normal and the instrument can be used. Otherwise, the pointer may jump or the rotor may suddenly hit. And the phenomenon of damage.
11. Press the warning sign in the meter indicator to take out the blocking piece that prevents the rotor from vibrating during transportation, and then use the meter after recovery.
12. When the user uses, if the density of the measured fluid is different from the water, or the parameters and working state of the measured gas are different from the manufacturer's specifications, the reading of the flowmeter value shall be converted.
