Wuhan Auto Parts Adds Giants


Yesterday, Asia's auto parts giant Stanley Electric Co., Ltd. lighting production base started in the Wujiashan Economic Development Zone. The first phase of the project is expected to start production in May next year, and it can realize an annual output of 560,000 sets of automotive lamps with an output value of 1.2 billion yuan.

The project has a total investment of 140 million U.S. dollars. It is planned to be completed in two phases. The first phase of the plant will mainly provide support for the Honda line, while the second phase of the plant will start in 2015. It will then radiate Shanghai GM, Guangzhou Automobile Mitsubishi, Dongfeng Nissan and other automakers. .

In recent years, the Wujiashan Economic and Technological Development Zone has successively introduced more than 10 auto parts production companies such as Weifu, Eppak, Mori 6, Fu Lasite, and Lin Jun, forming a large-scale auto parts industrial chain. According to the person in charge of the development zone, it is currently working hard to build the first Japanese-owned auto parts industrial park in central China, and will gather more first-class Japanese auto parts production companies in the future. According to the industrial planning of Dongxihu District, the district plans to build a 100 billion-scale automobile and parts industry around 2020.
