Although the purchase cost of single equipment has risen, it is possible to build one less production line and the overall cost is reduced, which is still cost-effective. Wang Xiangzhi introduced to me that the Hanma engine production line, except for a small number of auxiliary equipment purchased from domestic excellent companies, all machining and inspection equipment are purchased from foreign companies. Purchasing these equipments is precisely the time when Europe and the United States were in a financial crisis. Liu Hanru took advantage of this opportunity to minimize procurement costs.
After a trial production of the production line one year later, a German expert who commissioned the equipment said: "Your price will not be there in the future."
The completion of the entire Hanma engine's production line includes plant reconstruction, power conversion, overall production line design, equipment procurement and installation. The total investment in the first phase is less than RMB 800 million.
The Hanma engine production line started the transformation of the factory in July 2009.
