Zhouqu Bailong River completed the task of clearing the river

At 12 o'clock on the August 30th, after the armed police hydropower squadron and other forces had 22 round-the-clock battles, the Bailongjiang dam lake emergency rescue and river emergency dredge missions were completed 12 hours earlier than scheduled.

On the 30th, for more than 20 days, the 313 provincial highway, the county riverside road, and the Chengguan Bridge on both sides of the Bailong River, which has been flooded for more than 20 days, have all been exposed. The banks of the Zhouqu Bailongjiang, which has been hit hard, have basically recovered their original appearance.

The officers and men of the People's Armed Police Force told China News that an over 1.8 million cubic meters of landslides in Zhouqu caused floods to push forward the Bailong River, forming a huge sluice body over 1 km long, resulting in the Bailong River bed being lifted 8 to 10 meters and the river channel being widened. At 100 to 200 meters, one third of the Zhouqu county is flooded.

After the occurrence of dangerous conditions, the armed police hydropower units immediately put into the lake and the Bailongjiang River to dredge, and there were more than one hundred large-scale machinery. The first rule was to eliminate the danger of damaging the lake, and from 13th to the river's emergency dredge task.

The water in the urban area was returned back to the trough, indicating that the emergency risk and emergency dredging of the Bailongjiang dam lake in Zhouqu was comprehensive. Completed the Bailongjiang dredging and rescue project and achieved victory.
