China’s first complete ship damage test is underway

Recently, in the nearshore of Shekou, a super-high-speed patrol boat fell from a height of 12 meters, splashing a huge splash of water but it was safe. After testing, it can withstand an impact acceleration of 15g (g is gravitational acceleration), more than double the number of China's latest fighter "Super Seven." This test is also the first time in China that the whole ship damage test was carried out.

The test was carried out by the Transportation Department, Dalian Maritime University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen Haisby Boat Technology Development Co., Ltd., etc. According to the test commander, General Manager of Shenzhen Haysby Company, Shi Jun The vessel under test was an ultra-high-speed patrol boat of the type HP1088. HP1088 is mainly used for maritime border patrols and smuggling, often encountering bad winds and waves and smuggling molecules and malicious collisions. Therefore, impact resistance has become an important indicator of ultra-high-speed patrol boats.
The test is also the first full-scale ship damage test in China.

The success of the HP1088 ship destruction test not only fills the domestic gap, but also shows that the level of independent innovation of China's boats has reached the international advanced level.
