After investigation, the auto parts project of Hubei Dongfeng Shixing Auto Parts Co., Ltd. failed to fulfill the EIA approval procedures and was put into production in March 2010. The galvanizing wastewater and pickling cleaning wastewater enter the gully through the collection tank; the rust-removing alkaline wastewater is discharged at will, and the ground is not treated with anti-seepage treatment; the galvanizing process does not have an exhaust gas prevention and control facility. On July 3, 2014, the Huanggang Environmental Protection Bureau issued an advance notice of the administrative penalty (hearing), ordering the enterprise to immediately stop production and impose a fine of 150,000 yuan. At present, the company has not implemented the production stoppage requirement.
To monitor the notification requirements, the company was ordered to stop production immediately, to complete the environmental assessment procedures within a time limit, to rectify the existing environmental problems within a time limit, to resume production without approval, and to investigate and deal with the environmental violations of the enterprise.
