It is reported that an automatic production line with an advanced international standard for China National Heavy Duty Truck was formally put into use at the China National Heavy Duty Truck Components Department. After this automatic line is put into use, the total annual capacity of China Suspension Balance Suspension will reach 200,000 vehicles.
The balance shaft shaft housing assembly is the leading product of the component processing department, and it is also the sole supplier of the assembly plants of the Heavy Truck Group Truck Company, Jinan Commercial Vehicle Company, and Jining Commercial Vehicle Company. The original support processing line consists of a horizontal machining center and special machine tools. The product quality produced by this production line is stable, but the production efficiency is relatively low. In recent years, due to the rapid increase in the market share of heavy trucks produced by China National Heavy Duty Truck, the existing production capacity is far from the long-term planning capabilities of the Group Corporation. In order to increase the production capacity of this product, the Group invested 31 million yuan in 2008, introduced an automatic production line with advanced international standards, and produced 400,000 racks per year, which can meet the needs of an annual production capacity of 200,000 units.
The bracket production line is mainly composed of a gantry robot, two horizontal machining centers, nine high-precision, high-automation planes and a large-volume coolant circulation system. It adopts international advanced gas inspection agencies, on-fibre identification switches, automatic pressure regulation for large flow systems, chip removal and international branded knives. The hydraulic and pneumatic systems of the equipment are made from Japanese products. Only two operators are responsible for picking, loading, and unloading of the production line. The rest of the production processes are automatically completed online. The product meets the technological requirements, and the quality is stable and the efficiency is high. The production cycle of a single piece is 1.5 minutes per piece. The production line alarms after cutting a given number of workpieces, prompting the operator to replace the blade, thereby reducing the reject rate and ensuring product quality.
The gantry robot automatically recognizes and holds the workpiece from the circulation and feeding mechanism, flips it over, and automatically recognizes whether there is a workpiece in the machine tool. When there is no workpiece, the workpiece is accurately placed in the fixture of the machine to avoid mistakes on the workpiece and the machine crashes. The large-flow coolant circulation system automatically adjusts the pressure and discharges the chips, and adopts coarse and fine two-channel filtration, which greatly reduces the operating cost of the system coolant.
