When querying according to the workpiece material, the result is all available tool types so that the tool can be optimized. Figure 5 shows the PCBN tool query interface. According to the cutting parameters v, f and ap, the tool life can be simulated to obtain a clear and clear relationship between the tool life T and the cutting parameters, which can provide necessary reference information for reasonable choice of cutting amount and tool life. In the next step, we will further enrich and improve system functions by expanding the use of the powerful toolbox of Matlab software. The technical consulting module uses the technical consulting module to query various information about PCBN tools. This module consists of five sub-modules. System Help Sub-module The system help sub-module has a full library commentary to provide detailed help information for the user to use the system correctly. The sub-module is similar to a multi-media teaching software, has a voice commentary function, strong viewing. Use the Web Brower browser to view dynamic web page effects (as shown in Figure 9). The user can easily and quickly query the PCBN tool information in the directory or index as needed. The multimedia information browsing sub-module can use this sub-module to view and browse all data and multimedia data in the database. Machining example introduction Sub-module This sub-module can play a demo example of a PCBN tool for the user in multimedia form. 3 Online query function The system has a function of searching for the Internet and can use the Internet technology to make a remote query of the system database on the Internet. Because this system is built on Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 platform, its network function has better stability than databases created with other software. 4 Conclusion The PCBN tool multimedia database consultation management system introduced in this paper is a kind of application software based on Windows NT/98 environment, with reasonable design, complete function, rich information, beautiful interface, adaptability and portability, simple and flexible operation, The advantages of stable and reliable operation, easy maintenance, etc., can well meet the needs of PCBN tool information management, and have extremely high use value for PCBN tool users and research and development personnel.
