Selection and calculation of leaching tank

The main equipment in the cyanidation process includes learning to vent, washing equipment, precious liquid purification equipment and replacement equipment. The calculation of the selection of common equipment is briefly described below.
At present, the cyanide chemical used in China has a single impeller mechanical agitation tank, a double impeller hollow shaft intake mechanical agitation tank, an axial flow mechanical agitation tank and an air agitation tank (Pachuca tank). The structure of the single impeller mechanical agitation tank is the same as that of the slurry mixing tank for beneficiation . The volume is small and the installation power is large. The double impeller hollow shaft air intake mechanical agitation leaching tank has large volume and low power consumption. The hollow shaft intake can pass air. The impeller is better dispersed into the slurry to improve the leaching effect. The specifications and performance are shown in Table 1.

The required volume of the leaching tank is calculated by the following formula
V=qt(R+1/ρ)/(24K) (1)
Where V is the total volume of the required leaching tank, m 3 ;
q——Daily processing ore, t/d;
T——the required leaching time, h;
Ρ——ore density, t/m 3 ;
R——leaching slurry ratio;
K——The utilization factor of the leaching tank volume is shown in Table 2.

Select the size of the leaching tank based on the calculated total volume, and then calculate the number of slots. Generally, the number of leaching tanks should not be less than 3~4 units.
Then calculate the total air volume according to the venting tank inflation amount and wind pressure, select the pressure fan model, and then calculate the required number according to the required air volume and the rated air volume of the equipment. The leaching tank aeration and wind pressure are listed in Table 3.
