High current generator precautions:
1. The test work shall not be less than two people. One person shall operate and one person shall supervise operations to ensure safety.
2. The housing must be grounded. Do not neglect safety precautions to prevent personal injury due to low voltage. The instrument must be well grounded. In use, the up-flow transformer and console must be reliably grounded to ensure safety.
3. Proper conductor secondary to the test object conductor should not be too long, the cross-sectional area should be sufficient (current density can be considered 6-8A/mm) contact surface to be clean (a fine gauze can be used to light), otherwise the connector heat, or even The current rises less than the rated value.
4. Before working, check that the power supply has enough capacity, or the power cord is hot and the voltage is lowered and affect normal operation.
5. The work site should not have flammable materials. Temperature rise test should prepare enough fire extinguishing equipment.
6. Continuity (heating) test, on-site personnel should be on duty. And regularly check the source of rising equipment, wires, joints, fever, make a good record. Due to changes in the grid voltage, attention is paid to adjusting TD in order to maintain the rated test current. During the test, if abnormal phenomena are found, the air switching power supply shall be cut off immediately and the cause must be ascertained before testing. After the test is completed, the voltage regulator must be returned to zero. The air switch is used to cut off the power supply, the power supply is cut off, and the test wiring is removed in order to ensure safety.
7. The test work shall comply with the relevant provisions of the electrical safety work regulations and formulate practical safety measures.
