On the morning of the 9th, at the Penglai Zhongbo Jinglu Shipyard, three Panamax bulk carriers under construction, with a capacity of 7.5 million DWT, have been completed and are being closed in the dock. It is expected to be launched in April next year. In the same dock, there are three ships of the same class that are undergoing hull assembly. This is the 3+3 shipbuilding method pioneered by Zhongbo Jinglu Shipbuilding.

Liu Hong, deputy general manager, said that the “3+3” shipbuilding method is centered on shipyard production, which can effectively improve the utilization efficiency of the site in the shipyard, and greatly improve the segmental pre-assembly rate and the total group level: “We Jinglu The ship has delivered 16 ships, including 12 ships of 75,200 dwt bulk carriers and 4 chemical tankers of 7,000 dwt, achieving sales income of 4.4 billion yuan and earning foreign exchange of 453 million US dollars. Jinglu Shipbuilding will continue to grow and develop itself. Make greater contributions to the creation of the Peninsula Blue Economic Zone."
